I am having to postpone any future programs due to several reasons that I am unable to talk about. Everything is ok but I have to devote my time to other things the next few months and trying to do the program- finding guests, reading their books, formulating engaging questions, working on news stories with Chad, editing, etc- was burning me out. Several things on my plate right now have to come first.

Brett “Big Schwag” Wagner has been in the entertainment business for over 20 years, starting out as a actor in Hollywood at the tender age of 21. The past 20 years Brett has guest starred in over 60 different tv shows and films. From “Hanna Montana” to being a series regular on “ The Jaime Kennedy Experiment”. Brett has done it all.

In the mid 90’s Brett got involved with pro wrestling and was running the WWE’S minor league company Ultimate Pro Wrestling in Orange County California. Producer Thom Beers found Brett while filming a documentary called “ Wrestling School” for Discovery Channel and asked Brett to come on board and be the voice for a brand new show called “Monster Garage” with Jesse James. Brett was the voice of the show for 5 years and 89 episodes and even filled in as the host for 4 episodes. From there Discovery Channel took notice and gave Brett his own show called “Monster Nation” which he hosted 40 episodes. Brett also got to co-host the popular first annual “Biker Build Off” awards with Bill Goldberg for Discovery Channel.

The Schwag was dabbling in Los Angeles radio for years being a fill in host and guest on “ESPN’S Mcdonald Douglas Show” on 710 am and from there started his own talk show called “Monster Radio” which was syndicated in 85 markets from 2003-2006 (Bruce Note- I was the book reviewer).

From all the tv exposure, Brett has made quiet a few appearances all across the U.S. and Canada the last 8 years. From bike and car events like “Sturgis On The River” in Iowa which attracts 70 thousand people over 2 days to the “Atlantic City Chopper Fest” and the “Food Lion Auto Fair” in North Carolina at Lowe’s Speedway. Brett travels and works up to 20 major bike, car and Drag race shows a year-including the last 5 years at the world famous “SEMA SHOW” in Las Vegas.

Brett became the spokesman for Bad Boy Mowers in 2004 and continues to work with the Arkansas based lawn mover company doing all their commercials and events and even gets to rub elbows with the likes of Willie Nelson and Toby Keith who are also spokesmen for the company.

Brett currently hosts the #1 rated show on Speed Channel called “Pass Time”. The drag racing show is on tv 4 days a week and has 3 million viewers. Brett also starred in the movie “The Crazies”, he had a part in “Machine Gun Preacher” and is in the upcoming movie, “John Dies At The End.”

Frank Joseph became the editor in chief of Ancient American magazine when it was founded in 1993. Travis learned to be led by God’s Holy Spirit at a young age. Seeing God work through Travis’ life gave him confidence to do and go wherever God has called Him. Because of the trust Travis has in God and not himself, he has humbly served the Lord allowing God to lead each step.

Following God, Travis trained in Lubbock, Texas starting with the Adventures In Missions (AIM) program. That is where he met Teresa, and a year later, he was married on October 12, 1996. A Christian spouse is hard to find, but God led the right partner to Travis to be there and support him as he would serve in ministry full-time.

He would later continue sharpening himself by attending a two year preaching school called Sunset International Bible Institute. After graduating with a 4.0 GPA, Travis got his Bachelor’s degree in biblical studies and his Master’s Degree in Christian counseling which have proven to help him in the many years of ministry. Seminary taught Travis how to dig deep into God’s Word and how to apply everything he had learned to his own life. This preaching school prepared Travis for mission work, leadership, teaching, preaching, as well as having a Christ-centered family.

Travis saw the great need in working with young people and in May 1999 he received the youth ministry position at the Metro Church in Winter Springs, Florida. He was there for 12 years, making a difference in hundreds of teenager’s lives. Because of his leadership, Travis has spoken at youth conferences, men’s retreats, camps, and rallies all over the world.

Since beginning in ministry, he and his wife have had two twin “daddy’s” boys. Now he and his wife are taking seriously the responsibility of raising their boys in Christ.

In March of 2006, Travis was called to write his first book which was released on July 30, 2008. God once again, led Travis to an opportunity which would reach thousands around the world. Since Travis’ first book release, he has been on over 30 radio interviews worldwide on Christian as well as secular stations. Dr. Patrick Heron was born in Dublin in 1952. When he was 24 years old, he had a “Saul on the road to Damascus” type of epiphany while reading the Bible. Thus began his Christian walk. He became interested in bible prophecy concerning the “end times” about 1996.

In 1997, his first book Apocalypse Soon was published and became a bestseller in Ireland. It entered the Irish bestsellers list after an interview with Gareth O’Callaghan, on RTE radio, who said he “read it in one sitting and was gripped.” Another book The Apocalypse Generation was also a success.

My “Official” Auto-Biography

 I get a kick out of visiting the page dedicated to me at Wikipedia (or wicked-pedia as I like to call it). I’m not sure who is updating the content, but it certainly is not me. Therefore, here is my official biography. 

My broadcasting career began many years ago while attending the University of Missouri. Somehow I talked Bill Weaver, the wonderful station manager at KFRU-AM in Columbia, into letting me host overnight, from 1-5AM. Amazingly, upon graduation, that job led me to accepting a position managing the newsroom at KCBJ-TV (now KMIZ-TV) also in Columbia. I was the nation’s youngest television News Director with a promising future, but soon realized I was really more cut out to be in front of the camera, as opposed to behind the scenes. 

My TV career expanded into specializing in weather and the environment and led to post-graduate studies in meteorology. Television allowed me to work and live in wonderful places like Reno, Pittsburgh, and eventually back to my beloved home state of California where I was the main weather guy at KNTV and KPIX. I was humbled to have received numerous Emmy Awards, Associated Press Awards and Radio and Television News Director’s trophies for “Best Weathercast”. The National Education Associated also awarded me a distinguished service honor for elementary education. In addition to all this, for several years in the 1990s I was lucky enough to hold the post of “fill-in” weatherguy on the nationally broadcast CBS Morning Show with Harry Smith.  

If I have a legacy in the world of media, hopefully it will be “Brian’s Kids”. Over the course of 12 years we utilized the airwaves of KPIX to highlight foster children in need of adoption. Over 400 children were adopted as a result of “Brian’s Kids”– in fact my household expanded notably as a result of the program. 

I left KPIX in 2001 after the adoption of our youngest son and launched several successful small businesses. In 2003 I was hired by KSFO radio in San Francisco to perform a two-hour evening talk show.  

Working at KSFO is a dream come true. I was a listener to the station long before I was ever given the opportunity to get behind the mic. 

In February 2010 I was asked to take over the KSFO morning show, which had been founded and hosted for fifteen years by the great Lee Rodgers. I’m not sure that anyone can “take over” for Lee, but by God’s grace I’m giving it a whirl.

Patrick M. Wood founded The August Corporation on October 11, 1975. As a registered investment adviser with the Securities and Exchange Commission, the company initially offered portfolio management services to investors in the United States.

In 1978, Wood commenced publication of The Trilateral Observer (TO), to specifically track and document the activities of The Trilateral Commission, which was then seen to be the very core of elitism and multi-nationalism in the United States and abroad. TO was co-edited by Professor Antony Sutton, formerly a Senior Fellow at the Hoover Institution for War, Peace and Revolution at Stanford University.

Together, and after encouragement from many TO subscribers, Wood and Professor Sutton re-edited their material and produced two successive book volumes, Trilaterals Over Washington – Volume I and Trilaterals Over Washington – Volume II.

Trilaterals Over Washington quickly became a best-seller and over the course of about two years, sold over 75,000 copies internationally. The books were very well received for excellent scholarship and original research, and even became a frequently-used textbook in political science classes at many colleges in U.S. universities.

When President Ronald Reagan entered the Oval Office in early 1981, August’s formal publishing activities ground to a halt. Conservative supporters figured that “Ronnie” would purge the Trilateral threat. Liberal supporters felt so defeated that they just gave up.

In 1981, Wood founded World Research Library.

In early 2005, Wood and his family moved from northern California to northern Idaho, to engage a simpler lifestyle and resume the original research and publishing activities to expose the super-elitists (like members of the Trilateral Commission), who continue to have a death-grip on the U.S. national sovereignty, foreign policy and many econonomic activities that supercede America’s national borders.

Aurelian Smith, Jr. (born May 30, 1955) is a second-generation American professional wrestler, the son of former wrestler Aurelian “Grizzly” Smith. He is best known by his ring name of Jake “The Snake” Roberts, and often brought snakes into the ring, including a boa constrictor named Damien and even a de-venomed cobra.

Roberts is best known for his two stints in the World Wrestling Federation—the first between 1986 and 1992, and the second between 1996 and 1997—though he also wrestled in the National Wrestling Alliance in 1983, World Championship Wrestling in 1992, and the Mexico-based Asistencia Asesoría y Administración between 1993 and 1994 and again in 1997. Erik Rush was born in New York City on January 1, 1961, the first child of a white father and black mother. For many years his family lived in the same neighborhood as Betty Shabazz (Malcolm X’s widow) and her children. I was humbled to have received numerous Emmy Awards, Associated Press Awards and Radio and Television News Director’s trophies for “Best Weathercast”. The National Education Associated also awarded me a distinguished service honor for elementary education. Chad Miles is a former contributing editor for Defense Watch Magazine and former contributor to The Michigan Journal.  He is currently the editor and publisher of Hearken the Watchmen.  As a political blogger he has written regular postings for Right Michigan, Tech Republican, Hip Hop Republican, and Michigan Minority Report.  Chad is an avid student of the old and new testaments of the Bible and has a keen interest in biblical prophecy.  He is currently working on writing his first book.

As a former political advisor specializing in technology issues, he has consulted with numerous candidates at the local, state and federal levels.  In 2006 Chad ran for a seat in the U.S. House of Representatives in Michigan’s 14^th Congressional District.  While the campaign was ultimately unsuccessful, the experience was invaluable.  Chad has been involved in the technology business since 1997 and is the founder and owner of the Detroit based technology consulting firm Magic Box, LLC.

Born in Tallahassee, Florida, Wally Amos lived a childhood that was not always stable and trouble free. But as a child he had an innate spirit and gift to view the world with optimism. The most loving person in his life was Della Bryant, his aunt in New York City. At the early age of twelve, young Wally moved to New York to live with his aunt who assumed a parental role. She was also the first person to bake him chocolate chip cookies. Although the home was of modest means, it was abundant in the meaningful qualities that give a child principles, “a can-do” attitude.

After a four year stint in the Air Force, Wally Amos began his early professional career in the stock room at Saks Fifth Avenue. He worked hard but was consistently underpaid. He asked for raises but was denied. Not having another job in place, but believing he was worth more Amos left the stock room ready for the next thing. That turned out to be the entertainment industry.

Just like at Saks, he started at the bottom. This time it was the mailroom at the William Morris Talent Agency. And just like before, Amos worked hard. At William Morris it paid off. Wally Amos rose from mailroom clerk to agent in one year – their first African-American agent. He prided himself on his ability to find the next new thing. He was the first to book many of the top performers of that era including The Supremes, Simon & Garfunkel and Marvin Gaye.

When he felt he’d gone as far as he could with William Morris he formed his own theatrical management agency. Packing up his young family he moved to the west coast. There were ups and downs but Amos always stuck to his principles: work hard, be positive, and don’t look back.

It was during this time that Wally learned to unwind on weekends by taking up a new hobby – baking chocolate chip cookies. Baking relaxed him and made him reminisce about his Aunt Della’s cookies.

Over the years the entertainment industry began to wear on Amos. Show biz personalities weren’t always the easiest people to deal with. It was time for a change.

In 1975, long before there were “food personalities” like Emeril Lagasse, Paul Newman and Nigella Lawsohn, Amos came up with the idea that he could sell his cookies as an entertainment personality –a gourmet chocolate chip cookie. Borrowing $25,000 from friends, Amos opened the first freestanding store, on Sunset Boulevard, in Hollywood, CA, that sold only cookies: The Famous Amos Chocolate Chip Cookie store. Soon the entrepreneur became a national personality renowned not only for his cookies but for his ebullient and outgoing persona as well.

In 1985, a series of events began that led the company to change hands. It is now owned by the Kellogg Company. Amos eventually returned to baked goods through Uncle Wally’s Muffin Company.

Asserting that being famous only meant that lots of people knew who he was; Wally Amos always wanted to use his wide recognition as a means to draw attention to an important cause. That cause became literacy. Wally dedicated his efforts to Literacy Volunteers of America where he served as their National Spokesperson from 1979 to 2002. As a literacy advocate, Wally uses his well-known name to support educational causes and serves on the Boards of the National Center for Family Literacy, Read to Me International, and Communities in Schools, in addition to many others. In 2005, Wally Amos and his wife, Christine, founded the Read it Loud!, a publicly supported 501(c) (3) organization, to promote reading aloud to children.

He is the recipient of many honors and awards including the President’s Award for Entrepreneurial Excellence, the Horatio Alger Award, and the National Literacy Honors Award. He has been inducted into the Babson College Academy of Distinguished Entrepreneurs.
